Last Sunday's show seemed to land well. Janet from Maidenhead laughed out loud at the link into Haircut 100's 'Nobody's Fool'. Gratifying feedback indeed. Thank you to everyone who listened to all or part of it.
It's an interesting exercise pulling together a programme. Obviously I think every track is worth sharing. Equally obviously it's highly unlikely that everyoe else will like every song in every show. But if you had asked me about my musical taste before I started the show, I would never have guessed that it features relatively high interest in electronica, instrumentals and foreign language songs.
The end of 2023 is fast approaching. That means it is time to think about meaningful, favouritte and simply the best songs for the Pop In The Real World 2023 playlist. The joy and interest in this for me comes from the suggestions from others, so please bombard me with your suggestions for songs to include.
