A rave, a legend, the greatest and the finest band of their generation. They're all here!
Episode 4 is up and running, and it was the most enjoyable to pull together by far.
Not a lot of that was down to me, but to the subjects covered. John Peel is a legend and one of the most interesting music people the world has seen. That section pretty much picked and presented itself. It's astonishing how many debuts have stood the test of time and of later career steps. I loved being able to link to one of the very good music books I've read recently. The songs blended together well, and there was room to include some favourites that are not as well known as they could be.
What are those songs? They are:
The Ballroom Blitz - The Sweet
Janie Jones - The Clash
All I Remember - Brian Eno
Lose My - Chantssss
Lucky Girl - Fazerdaze
Irene - The Photos
Up The Neck - The Pretenders

Do It All Over Again - Spiritualised
Bill Is Dead - The Fall
Teenage Kicks - The Undertones
Ali In The Jungle - The Hours
Trombone - Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets
The Swimmer - Coco
The Politics of Dancing - Re-Flex

State of Shock - The Jacksons and Mick Jagger
Flim - Aphex Twin
Pretending To See The Future - OMD
